【性味】 味苦、辛；性微寒
树皮呈卷筒状或扭曲成绳状，长短不一，外表面平滑，有细纵纹，灰棕色，有少数圆形突起的皮孔及三角状叶痕；内表面暗棕色，质坚韧，不易纵裂，断面纤维性。气微，味微苦、涩。
