墓头回概述
为败酱科败酱属植物异叶败酱及糙叶败酱（山败酱），以根或全草入药。秋季采根，去净泥土，晒干。水煎服可治晚期子宫癌。《本草原始》记载：“墓头回根色黑，气臭，脚汗味，用此草干久益善，治疗肝胆疾病，特效。”

《山西中药志》记载：“敛肝燥湿，止血。主妇人髋疽，赤白带下。”
墓头回性状
【性味】 味苦，微酸涩，性凉。
【归经】 归心，肝经。
根不规则圆柱形，长短不一，常弯曲，根头部粗大，有的分枝。表面粗糙，棕褐色，皱缩，有的具瘤状突起；栓皮易剥落；脱落后呈棕黄色。折断面纤维，具放射状裂隙。体轻，质松，具特异臭气，味稍苦。
