土茯苓为百合科植物光叶菝葜的干燥根茎,常于夏、秋二季采挖,除去须根,洗净后干燥入药。
《本草纲目》记载:“健脾胃,强筋骨,去风湿,利关节,止泄泻;治拘挛骨痛,恶疮痈肿,解汞粉、银朱毒。”
土茯苓各家论述
《本草正义》记载:“土茯苓,利湿去热,能入络,搜剔湿热之蕴毒。其解水银、轻粉毒者,彼以升提收毒上行,而此以渗利下导为务,故专治杨梅毒疮,深入百络,关节疼痛,甚至腐烂,又毒火上行,咽喉痛溃,一切恶症。”
土茯苓性状
【性味】味甘,淡,性平。
【归经】归肝、胃经。
呈长圆形或不规则的薄片,边缘不整齐,切面类白色至淡红棕色,粉性,可见点状维管束及多数小亮点;以水湿润后有黏滑感。气微,味微甘、涩。
