【性味】 味辛，微苦，性凉。
茎直立多分枝，光滑无毛，绿色。叶互生，2～3回羽状分裂，裂片短，窄线形。头状花序排列成伞房状，直径1.2～2.5厘米，着生于枝梢或叶腋，具花梗，总苞半球形 ；苞片4层，边缘膜质；舌状花1层，生于花序外围，雌性，白色，先端平截或微凹；其内为管状花，多数，两性，黄色，花冠先端4～5齿裂；花药基部圆钝；花托圆锥形，无托片。瘦果椭圆形，有3～5条细棱，无冠毛。
