扁豆花概述
为豆科扁豆属植物扁豆的花。7～8月间采摘未完全开发的花，迅速晒干或烘干，晒时要经常翻动，至干足为止。鲜用时随用随采。《岭南采药录》记载：“敷跌打伤，去瘀生新，消肿散青黑。”
扁豆花各家论述
《本草便读》记载：“扁豆花赤者入血分而宣瘀，白者入气分而行气，凡花皆散，故可清暑散邪，以治夏月泄痢等证也。”
扁豆花性状【性味】 味平，甘，性淡，无毒。
【归经】 归脾，胃，大肠经。
花呈扁平不规则三角形，长、宽约1cm。下部有绿褐色钟状的花萼，萼齿5，其中2齿几合生，外被白色短柔毛。花瓣5，皱缩，黄白、黄棕或紫棕色，未开放的花外为旗瓣包围，开放后，广卵圆形的旗瓣则向外反折；两侧为翼瓣，斜椭圆形，基部有小耳；龙骨瓣镰钩状，几弯成直角。雄蕊10，其中9枚基部联合；内有一柱状雌蕊，弯曲。质软，体轻。气微香，味淡。以朵大、色黄白、气香者为佳。
