大腹皮概述(行气宽中 行水消肿)
别名 槟榔皮、大腹毛、茯毛
为棕榈科植物槟榔的干燥果皮。冬季至次春采收未成熟的果实，煮后干燥，纵剖两瓣，剥取果皮，习称“大腹皮”；春末至秋初采收成熟果实，煮后干燥，剥取果皮，打松，晒干，习称“大腹毛”。
大腹皮各家论述
据《本草经疏》记载：“大腹皮，即槟榔皮也。其气味所主，与槟榔大略相同，槟榔性烈，破气最捷，腹皮性缓，下气稍迟。入阳明、太阴经，二经虚则寒热不调，逆气攻走，或痰滞中焦，结成膈证；或湿热郁积，酸味醋心；辛温暖胃豁痰，通行下气，则诸证除矣。”
大腹皮性状
【性味】 味辛，性微温
【归经】 归脾、胃、大肠、小肠经
干燥果皮，通常纵剖为二。未打松者呈椭圆形瓢状，外果皮灰棕黄色，有褐色斑点及纵裂纹。以已打松者，外果皮脱落，中果皮为黄白色至灰黄色的纤维，纤维纵向排列，外层松散成缕，内层纤维较粗，现棕毛状。内壁凹陷，褐色或深棕色，表面光滑呈硬壳状。体轻松，质柔韧，易纵向撕裂。无臭，味淡。
