Ceramic Gaiwan Tea Cup 150ml, Ding Kiln 定窑, 'Dao' 道 Calligraphy

The fourth piece in the Ding-kiln (定窑) calligraphy series: 道 (Dào) — the Way — in flowing ink down a bright white bowl. This one gets an extra touch the others don't have: a small incense burner with two thin trails of smoke curling upward beside the character. Crescent moon and clouds on the lid, dark pinstripe rims — same family, its own personality.

150ml across lid, bowl, and saucer. Thin porcelain, quick heat transfer, clean pouring. Collect the set, or let this one stand on its own.
