Ceramic Gaiwan Tea Cup 170ml, White Porcelain, 'Chan' 禅 Character

A friendlier take on the Zen theme. This 170ml white porcelain (白瓷) gaiwan carries 禅 (Chán) in loose black brushwork, with a little cartoon monk in a blue robe standing at the character's side and a green lotus pod dangling from a curving stem. The lid gets a smaller version of the same scene.

The roomier 170ml bowl is a comfortable step up — more space for the leaves to open, still easy to handle. Glossy white glaze that shows tea color true, a snug lid with a wide knob, and a saucer that actually fits the bowl. Playful on the shelf, serious about brewing.
