为爵床科植物黑叶爵床的茎叶或根，全年可采，采收嫩枝叶切段，晒干。
常栽培作绿篱。野生于山坡、水边、跌旁灌木丛中或林下湿润地；

大驳骨丹性状
【性味】 味辛，微苦，性平。
【归经】 归肝，脾经。
茎枝圆柱形，多切成段，表面光滑，微具纵棱，灰绿色或棕黄色，节部膨大，略带紫色，断面中空有髓，叶对生，具短柄；叶片椭圆形，革质，先端钝，基部楔形，全缘，叶面青绿色，叶背黄绿色，微显光亮，无毛，气微，味微辛。
