别 名复盆子、树倭泡、树莓、麦泡、悬钩子、覆盆莓、乌藨子、
为蔷薇科植物掌叶覆盆子的干燥果实，覆盆子果实含有相当丰富的维生素A、维生素C、钙、钾、镁等营养元素以及大量纤维，其果实酸甜可口，有“黄金水果”的美誉，并含有丰富的水杨酸、酚酸等物质，水杨酸被称为“天然阿斯匹林”。
覆盆子各家论述
《本草通玄》记载：“覆盆子，甘平入肾，起阳治痿，固精摄溺，强肾而无燥热之偏，固精而无凝涩之害，金玉之品也。”
覆盆子性状
【性味】 味甘、酸，性温。
【归经】 归肾、膀胱经。
聚事果由众多核果聚合而成，略呈圆锥形或类球形，上端钝圆，底部较平坦，高0.6-1.3厘米，直径0.5-1.2厘米。
表面灰绿色或淡棕色，密被灰白色或灰绿色短绒毛，宿萼棕色，5裂，先端多折断，上有多数残存花丝，下有果柄痕或连有细果柄。小核果约呈半月形，背面隆起，腹面有突起棱线；表面棕色，背面及先端有灰白色毛，腹面及两侧有网状凹纹。质硬，内含棕色种子1粒。气清香，味微酸涩。
