甘松概述
甘松为败酱科植物甘松、宽叶甘松的干燥根及根茎，生于海拔3000～4500的高山草原地带或疏林中或沼泽草甸、河漫滩和灌丛草坡，于春、秋二季采挖，除去泥沙和杂质，晒干或阴干。《本草求真》记载：“甘松，虽有类山柰，但山柰气多辛窜，此则甘多于辛，故书载能入脾开郁也。”
甘松各家论述
《本草汇言》记载：“甘松，醒脾畅胃之药也。《开宝方》主心腹卒痛，散满下气，皆取温香行散之意。其气芳香，入脾胃药中，大有扶脾顺气、开胃消食之功。入八珍散、三合粉中，治老人脾虚不食，久泻虚脱，温而不热，香而不燥，甘而不滞，至和至美，脾之阳分用药也。”
甘松性状
【性味】 味辛，甘，性温。
【归经】 归脾，胃经。
略呈圆锥形，多弯曲，根茎短小，上端有茎、叶残基，呈狭长的膜质片状或纤维状；外层黑棕色，内层棕色或黄色，根单一或数条交结、分枝或并列，表面棕褐色，皱缩，有细根及须根。质松脆，易折断，断面粗糙，皮部深棕色，常成裂片状，木部黄白色。气特异，味苦而辛，有清凉感。
