灵香草性状
【性味】 味辛，甘，性平。
【归经】 归肺，胃经。
根须状，棕褐色，茎呈类圆柱形，表面灰绿色或暗绿色，长7-40cm，直径约3mm，有纵纹及棱翅，棱边多向内卷，茎下部节上生有细根；质脆，易折断，断面类圆形，黄白色。叶互生，叶片多皱缩，展平后呈卵形、椭圆形，长5-10cm，宽2-5cm，先端微尖，基部楔形具翼，纸质，有柄。叶腋有时可见球形蒴果，类白色，果柄细长，达3.5cm，具宿萼，果皮薄，内藏多数细小的棕色种子，呈三角形。气浓香，味微辛、苦。以茎叶嫩细、色灰绿、气香浓者为佳。
