别名 末药、明没药、生没药
没药为橄榄科植物没药树或爱伦堡没药树的胶树脂,生于海拔500-1500m的山坡地。
一般在11月至次年2月间采收,但亦有在6~7月间采收,采收后拣净树皮及其他杂质即得。

据《纲目》记载:“乳香活血,没药散血,皆能止痛消肿,生肌,故二药每每相兼而用。”

【性味】 味苦,性平。
【归经】 归肝,脾,心经。
呈不规则颗粒状或粘结成团块,有较小或更大的,表面黄棕色至红棕色或黄棕色相间,有时夹有树皮、木屑;质坚脆,破碎面颗粒状,有油样光泽,打碎后的薄片有亮光或半透明。气香而特异,味极苦,嚼时粘牙。
