丁香概述
为桃金娘科丁子香属植物丁香,以花蕾和其果实入药。在花蕾开始呈白色,渐次变绿色,最后呈鲜红色时可采集。将采得的花蕾除去花梗晒干即成。母丁香为丁香的干燥果实。在果实近成熟时采摘。应用与丁香花蕾相似,但药力较弱,功效较差。

《本草通玄》记载:“丁香,温中健胃,须于丸剂中同润药用乃佳。独用多用,易于僭上,损肺伤目。”
丁香性状
【性味】 味辛,性温。
【归经】 归脾,胃,肝,肾经。
略呈研棒状,花冠圆球形,花瓣复瓦状抱合,棕褐色至褐黄色,花瓣内为雄蕊和花柱,搓碎后可见众多黄色细粒状的花药,萼筒圆柱状,略扁,有的稍弯曲,红棕色或棕褐色,上部有4枚三角状的萼片,十字状分开。质坚实,富油性。气芳香浓烈,味辛辣、有麻舌感。
